Overview
The Supplier Booking Import feature in Planner supports integration with GAdventures for activities. This feature allows TOs/TAs to import bookings conducted externally to TripBuilder in the supplier’s systems by providing a booking ID. As a result, a new ad-hoc component is created and added to the itinerary.
Please note: Booking import requires access via API to the GAdventures system to retrieve booking details. TripBuilder must be configured beforehand with the client's specific GAdventures credentials for access. Please contact your GAdventures account manager, our support team, or your customer success manager to proceed with the configuration. |
How to perform a GAdventures booking import
From the Planner, click the TO-Tools menu (or TA-Tools menu) and select the Add booking from supplier option.
Please note: Option Add booking from supplier will only display if G-Adventures or BookMyRide suppliers have been previously configured. |
This directs you to the page where you can choose the supplier and import the information to your itinerary. Choose the GAdventures option to add an activity.
Enter the component’s booking ID and click the Add booking button.
In the next step, choose the activity to add to your itinerary and click Add booking again.
Important: Within the same booking, there may be different services (single-day activities, multi-day activities or pre/post hotel extensions, for example). The existing implementation only imports to TripBuilder single and multi-day activities. |
The ad-hoc activity component page opens with most of the information already filled in, except for the Location field. Select the location of the activity from the ones available.
Some fields are editable so that you can change information, such as the name or description. You can also complement the ad-hoc component with additional information not present in the booking.
Click Save to confirm the action.

After saving, you’re directed to the Planner, where the component was added as an activity on the designated day of the itinerary (or days if it’s a multi-day tour). Here, you can replace the activity or click the Adjust button to be directed to the ad-hoc activity component page, where you can edit the component’s details.
It is also possible to navigate to the imported ad-hoc component (for visualisation or editing) by clicking on Ad-Hoc Components in the TO-Tools menu (or TA-Tools menu). The added activity will be under the Activity Ad-Hoc Components section.
