Overview
The Supplier Booking Import feature in Planner supports integration with BookMyRide for rental vehicles (RVs and Campers). This feature allows TOs/TAs to import bookings conducted externally to TripBuilder in the supplier’s systems by providing a booking ID. As a result, a new ad-hoc component is created and added to the itinerary.
Please note: Booking import requires access via API to the BookMyRide system to retrieve booking details. TripBuilder must be configured beforehand with the client's specific BookMyRide credentials for access. Please contact your BookMyRide account manager, our support team, or your customer success manager to proceed with the configuration. |
How to perform a BookMyRide booking import
From the Planner, click the TO-Tools menu (or TA-Tools menu) and select the Add booking from supplier option.
Please note: Option Add booking from supplier will only display if BookMyRide or G-Adventures suppliers have been previously configured. |
This directs you to the page where you can choose the supplier and import the information to your itinerary. Choose the BookMyRide option to add a rental vehicle.
Enter the component’s booking ID and click the Add booking button.
In the next step, choose the vehicle you want to add to your itinerary and click Add booking again.
Please note: Within the same booking, there may be multiple services. It's optional to import all of them to the itinerary. |
