00:00: Welcome to another video of our working with Inventory in TripBuilder series. In this video, we will be talking about Amenities, and how to create them in the different Inventory products. 00:11: Amenities are used to add extra services, such as meal options, guides, transfers, entrance tickets, and a lot more to different Inventory Products in TripBuilder. 00:22: Amenities can be added in the following Inventory Products: 00:26: Accommodations 00:28: Transfers 00:30: Transit and Stop Activities 00:33: and Rental Cars. 00:35: To add amenities, navigate to the amenities tab in one of the previously mentioned inventory products. 00:42: You have the possibility to create single amenities, and amenities groups. This groups serve to accommodate same type amenities inside one group. 00:52: We recommend that you start by creating a Group. Click on Add Amenity group. 00:57: Give it a descriptive name. 00:59: And Click "Ok" when done. 01:01: You already have a Group, and you can now add amenities inside that group. 01:06: Click on "Add Amenity". 01:08: Give a name to your amenity, like for example "Breakfast". 01:12: Now, you can select the type of this amenity, from the list that Tripbuilder provides you. Be aware that you cannot change the type of the amenity after. The difference in creating amenities between the different type of inventory products resides here, in the possible selection of type. Let's see why. 01:31: For Accommodations, you can select the type of the amenity as extra, Honeymoon deal, Meals or Wifi. 01:38: For transfers, you can select the type of the amenity as entertainment, guidance, other or meals on board. 01:45: For Transit and Stop Activities, you have a few more choices of available types for your amenity. Choose from accommodation, meal, extensions, sports equipment, transfers, admission tickets, excursions, travel documents, guidance, and if not sufficient for your needs, you can choose other. 02:05: And finally, for rental cars you have the type options of Equipment, Insurance, Child seating and Navigation as options to classify your amenity. Please note that on Rental Cars Products, you don't have the possibility to create Amenity groups, only single amenities. 02:22: Going back to our example, we selected the type of this accommodation amenity as meal. Now, you can select the group it belongs to, if you created groups. 02:33: When you finish, click on Ok. 02:36: You will now see that you have your amenity inside the group. 02:40: You have also the group configuration, where you can change the name and Opt-Out option - which can be Optional or mandatory. 02:47: And the Amenity configuration options, right below the group. 02:51: On inclusion policy, select how this amenity should behave. It can be optional, and be selected or not, or a mandatory amenity, always selected. As an example, if you have a room with included breakfast, you can select Mandatory. 03:07: The pricing type can be defined, in accommodations, as price per room, per PAX, or included. 03:14: Selecting Included, you don't need to configure anything else. The amenity is included in the price. 03:21: Selecting pricing per room or per pax, allows you to configure how this is charged as well. You can select if the price of this amenity is charged per night, per stay, or per partial day. 03:33: The examples we saw, are how to set up pricing and inclusion of a type of amenity in an accommodation inventory product. As we saw before, there are very different types of amenities that can be created in different inventory products. Depending on those types, the pricing configuration can be different than what you are seeing in this video. 03:53: For example, in a Equipment type amenity in Rental Cars, you have Pricing type per PAX or per Car. The nomenclature can be different, but the logic is the same. Now, let's move forward, and price our amenity. 04:08: The process is the same as pricing Room categories, or service categories. You need to create a PAX or date range. To do so, Click on "create now". 04:19: Add the range as necessary, and when finished click on Ok. 04:23: Now, you can define a pricing season. Click on "Add pricing season". 04:28: Choose the season dates, with the calendar or list view. 04:32: Now, you can define pricing for your amenity, given the range and season you selected. 04:38: On some cases, you can define a condition of minimum nights stay in which this amenity will display to your user. 04:45: Also as an option, you can add special offers to amenities as well. If you have any doubts, You can check our available videos about Special Offers. 04:55: Clicking "Add Amenity", will add another amenity to your Inventory Product. 05:00: If you don't add that amenity to a group, it will be displayed as a standalone amenity. 05:06: To move an amenity inside a group, you can click on "Move Amenity". 05:11: And choose the new group in which you want to move the amenity too. 05:15: As you have seen in this video, amenities can be a great ally in personalizing your inventory products. Keep in mind that you have our knowledge base articles to help you in specific amenities inside inventory products. See you next time!
