Overview
This article gives you an overview of Nezasa's Payyo connector.
Payyo is an online payment platform that enables businesses to accept various payment methods in a secure and efficient way, simplifying the payment process and enhancing customer experience.
TripBuilder integrates with Payyo, enabling users to make secure payments directly within TripBuilder’s applicational flow, providing a cohesive experience for users.
User Flow
Once Payyo is set up, online payment during checkout will be facilitated through Payyo. This integration employs Payyo's hosted payment page solution. -
You're redirected from TripBuilder to Payyo.
-
Enter payment details in Payyo.
-
Confirm payment in Payyo.
-
You're redirected from Payyo to TripBuilder.
-
Receive payment and itinerary booking confirmation in TripBuilder.
For more information, please check the Checkout Process with Online Payment article.
Payyo Configuration
Please note that the configuration setup for Payyo payment processor in TripBuilder involves the following steps:
- Nezasa creates a Merchant in Payyo backoffice
- Nezasa creates an Admin user for Customer in Payyo backoffice
- Customer does the KYC (Know Your Customer) process with Payyo. This process serves to confirm the identity of customers. Its primary objective is to mitigate potential risks linked to aspects like Compliance, Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing, and other concerns tied to regulatory compliance. Please check Payyo’s article regarding this.
- Customer adds banking information to their Payyo account
- Customer provides the Merchant ID to Nezasa and indication to which Distribution Channel it applies to (one or more)
- Nezasa configures the Payment Processor for each distribution channels, meaning a separate Payyo account per distribution can be defined. Please contact our support team or your customer success manager for more information or consult your Payyo pier for additional support.
Testing
Unfortunately, we don't have a dedicated test environment available at the moment. Customers seeking testing solutions may have the option to create controlled setups to use available testing tools by the payment provider, such as the Payyo sandbox. You can ask about the potential access to this specialised test environment by reaching out to your assigned Payyo contact.
Further Remarks
How to Enable/Disable Payment Methods?
