Flexible or Fixed modules are used for flexible tour modules, where nights can be adjusted and Stop Activities & Hotels can be exchanged, and can also be used for fixed tour modules for defining Multi-day Tours (Group Tours included).

Flexible Stop by Stop Module
00:00: This guide will walk you through the process of using the Tripbuilder application to create a stop-by-stop module. Stop-by-stop modules are - Used for flexible tour modules, where nights can be adjusted, and Stop Activities & Hotels can be exchanged - Can also be used for fixed tour modules for defining Multi-day Tours (Group Tours included) - or used as default Transfer-only Modules - and used for Rental Car Templates included in the Route Builder. 00:27: Click on the "Create Module" button to create a new module in the TripBuilder application. 00:32: To create a new stop-by-stop module, enter the - Title of the Module - and the start and end location. Note that the start and/or end location of the module needs to correspond to the template the module should be later used or selected for. 00:46: Select in the module structure drop-down option "Stop-by-stop" and in the module flexibility option "flexible". 00:53: Click on "Create" to create the daft version of the module and to be able to define further details. 00:59: On the Stops overview page, you see the start and end locations that you have defined when creating the module. Additionally, you now have the possibility to add the stop of the module as well as the transfer from and to the start and end location and between the stops. 01:15: Click on the "Add New Stop" button. 01:18: Select your stop location and the number of desired overnights and click the add. 01:23: Do the same process for all the other stops you wish to add to your module. 01:27: On the stops, you have the possibility to define default and recommended hotels to be presented to the user in the planner. Click on the edit pen next to the stop and add the required default and recommended accommodations. 01:40: Between stops, as well as start and end locations, you can add transfer options. Do so by clicking on "Add connection". 01:49: IN this example, we will connect the stops with a rental car connection. Navigate to the "Base Services & Rental Cars" tab to enable the rental car feature. 01:59: Enter "on" to enable it. This way, a rental car will cover the connections between the different stops. If you now navigate back to the stops tab, you will notice that all transfer connections are filled with a rental car connection. 02:13: Click on the "Save" button to save the changes made to your module. 02:18: There are different other tabs on the modules, such as - the description tab. You will be able to enter the key sentence and a short description of the module. - Although not mandatory, you can illustrate your module by adding some pictures. Navigate to the picture tab to add pictures via the picture library. - and the translation tab allows you to enter the translations for all enabled languages. 02:42: After you have added all the relevant information explained in the previous steps, you can now validate and publish the module. - Click on Validate to see if your module has been created correctly without any errors. 02:54: Clicking on Publish sets the draft version of the module into a published version. 02:59: This guide covered the steps to create a flexible stop-by-stop module in the TripBuilder application. Fixed Stop by Stop Module
00:00: This guide will walk you through the process of using the TripBuilder application to create a fixed multi-day tour based on a Stop-by-stop module. A Fixed Multi-day tour is an itinerary for groups or individuals whose included products can not be replaced or removed by the user in the planner. 00:17: Click on the "Create Module" button to create a new module in the TripBuilder application. 00:22: To create a new stop-by-stop module, enter the - Title of the Module - and the start and end location. Note that the start and/or end location of the module needs to correspond to the template the module should be later used or selected for. 00:36: Select in the module structure drop-down option "Stop-by-stop" and in the module flexibility option "fixed". 00:43: Once you have selected module flexibility as fixed, an additional option will be displayed to define the module pricing type. And for this use case, we opted for: No pricing. This means that the sum of the selected products will define the price of this module and will vary according to availability and dates. 01:02: Click on "Create" to create the daft version of the module and to be able to define further details. 01:08: On the Stops overview page, you see the start and end locations that you have defined when creating the module. Additionally, you now have the possibility to add the stop of the module as well as the transfer from and to the start and end location and between the stops. 01:23: Click on the "Add New Stop" button. 01:26: Search and select the stop that will be shown on your dropdown menu and define the number of overnights for that same stop. Repeat this same step for every stop you want to have on your Tour. 01:36: Once a module is defined as fixed, you will be required to configure default accommodations for each service level and each stop. This is mandatory for the module to be valid. If any is missing, an error message will be displayed. 01:50: Click "Add new default accommodation" on the first Category, here defined as Standard. 01:56: Search and select the desired accommodation and click done. 02:00: You can also select recommended hotels for a given stop and service level. Those will be used as fallbacks if the default hotel is unavailable during the itinerary instantiation. 02:11: Repeat the exact same logic to the other categories that you might have. 02:16: You can include activities on any available day in the module itinerary. To do that, first, select the itinerary stop and click on the Activities tab. 02:27: Select the edit pen of the day you want to add an activity. 02:31: Search and select the activities you want to offer at the stop. 02:35: You will be able to select the start time, service category, display settings and removal policy. The Removal Policy for activities on fixed modules is permanently fixed. When you have everything selected, click Done. 02:49: Select as many as you wish for each day and each stop. 02:53: On fixed modules, you have the choice to add transfer placeholders of fixed transfer between stops Click on the Add Connection button, to add a connection between the Airport and the first stop. 03:04: Click to add a new connection. 03:06: For this example, select the main transfer type as "shuttle ride" from the drop-down menu. 03:12: Afterwards click on the "Create Transfer Placeholder" button. 03:16: Make sure the transfer placeholder type is set correctly and the start and end location are as required. Click on "add transfer placeholder" to add the transfer. 03:26: Click on "Done" to add the placeholder to the module. 03:29: And don't forget to save all your changes. 03:32: Go back to the main page of your module. 03:35: In this example, we do the same for the last connection between the last stop and the departure airport. However, please not that any other inventory transfer or placeholder can be added based on then tour that you want to create. 03:49: For the remaining connections between the other stops, we'll add a rental car. To do so, click on the Base Services & Rental Cars tab. 03:58: Enable the rental car feature by ticking the box. 04:02: Make sure to save your changes. 04:04: If you now navigate back to the Stops tab, you will see that all remaining connections will be automatically filled with a rental car connection. 04:12: There are different other tabs on the modules, such as - the description tab.
