From the results area in Discovery Overview, a user can select an itinerary card and be directed to its details page. The Discovery Details displays further information on the selected template and allows start planning the itinerary by choosing a start date, PAX number and child/adult characterisation, and room distribution.
Our Tours and Branded Tours have corresponding Discovery Details pages with the same UI and UX structure. To know more about the difference between these two tour types, check out the Our Tours and Branded Tours article.
The Discovery Details page structure is divided into two areas.
The itinerary planning section, at the top of the Discovery Details page, holds the following items:
- General itinerary detail:
- Background image
- Itinerary name
- Short description
- Itinerary duration range
- Instantiation form box:
- Route and stop locations represented in a map
- Start travel date:
- Represented as a calendar if the number of available departure dates is superior to 20 or without limitation
- Represented as a list if the number of available departure dates is inferior to 20
Template availability is based on the availability of all contained products. When using a calendar representation, dates will be greyed out if:
For a list representation, the date value will not be presented.
Number of travellers, child/adult characterisation, and room distribution

Start Planning button (goes forward to the next step in the Route Builder)
Contact Us button
The itinerary details section, at the bottom of the Discovery Details page, holds the following items:
- Information about each stop:
- Day range in the location
- Location name
- Description (also referred to as the story/stories)
- Transportation means between locations

The itinerary details are displayed differently depending on whether the template is a stop-by-stop or based on a transit activity.
