Advanced Analytics - Raw Data
Available with a subscription for “Advanced Analytics”. It offers dashboards with a simple table exposing the raw data for key model entities of TripBuilder’s analytics data and, as such, allows a CSV download of that data. The following model entities are supported:
- users
- travel agencies
- itineraries
- components
The dashboards have various filters specific to the underlying model entity. All columns of the CSV are explained on the “Documentation” tab of the dashboard.
Remarks:
- You must use the "download option" on the table itself, not the one of the dashboard.
- Due to the raw nature of the data, some data might show different values than those used in the Customer Care UI. For example, itinerary status.
- Multi-language fields: if available, the report always uses the English value of multi-language fields. Otherwise, the value of whichever language was available is used by the raw data tables.
Marketplace Analytics
Marketplace Analytics are dedicated to our marketplace operator partners exclusively. They are listed here for the sake of completeness.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
When is the Analytics data refreshed?
Data is cached for improved usability and updated at least daily.
The data refresh for all TripBuilder Analytics dashboards happens daily between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM CET. Consult the tab “Documentation” of the dashboards to learn about their data update schedules.
Why do I see "No Data" for some visualisations?
The two most common causes to see a "no data" message by a visualisation are:
- No source data: the visualisation relates to an entity the underlying TripBuilder instance is not using. E.g., there are no highlights created in the TripBuilder instance, therefore the inventory report will show "No data" for the amount of highlights in the instance.
- Filters: you might have set filters that limits the data set such that no more data can be visualised. Try to change or reset your filters, see chapter "User Guide" above.
What reporting currencies are supported?
TripBuilder Analytics supports our official accounting / contract currencies CHF, EUR, USD, and GBP.
How are the reports converted into different reporting currencies?
- The currency conversion happens on itinerary-level within the data pipeline, and thus before the data reaches the business intelligence tool responsible for generating the report.
- The conversion rates are sourced from the service CurrencyLayer once a month and stored in the data warehouse.
- The lookup for the currency exchange rate is based on the original currency of a given price and the most appropriate timestamp for the given price. Examples: the timestamp of the booking completed event to calculate the initial price of the booking in different currencies, the timestamp of booking change completed for the price difference caused by the booking change, and so on.
What languages are supported by Analytics?
TripBuilder Analytics is only available in English.
Who can access TripBuilder Analytics?
Only company administrators (user role “Company Admin” ) have access to Analytics.
What is the main technology that supports TripBuilder Analytics?
TripBuilder Analytics is powered by Amazon Quicksight.
