Overview
Templates are created within the inventory of the Nezasa Cockpit. Each template has several functionalities and/or actions that can be performed during and after publishing, which are useful while working with them.
This article will give you an overview of which actions are available and how to successfully use them. The action button is the three-dotted button on the right-hand side of the template.
Template Actions - Status: Published
Checkout & Open
- Click on Checkout & Open to set the template from published to draft mode in order to make changes.
- After clicking on Checkout & Open the published label next to the title will change to draft.
Duplicate as Custom
- Click on Duplicate as Custom to create a copy of the template and save it in draft mode under the Custom Templates tab.
- Go to the Custom Template tab to work further with the template and make any relevant changes to create a new template.
Archive
- Clicking on Archive allows you to remove the template from the overview.
- Enabling the Include Archived box will allow you to view the archived templates and publish them again.
Show on website
- Clicking on Show on website allows you to open the template in Discovery Details directly out of the Cockpit. (Quick Link)
Create Itinerary
- Clicking on Create Itinerary allows you to create an itinerary from the template directly in Cockpit.
- It opens the following screen where the basic details e.g. travel date, number of pax, and pax data should be entered.
- Clicking on Create Itinerary creates an itinerary and its corresponding links to view it in Planner or Customer Care.
Template Actions - Status: Draft
Preview on website
- Click on Preview on website to view an unpublished template on Discovery and Planner.
- Please be aware that the itinerary will be created in preview mode too, therefore it can be viewed in Planner but cannot be booked.
View Last Published
- Click on View last published to view the last published version of the templates.
- After you have clicked on it, the last version of the template will be opened.
Duplicate as Custom
- Click on Duplicate as Custom to create a copy of the template and save it in draft mode under the Custom Templates tab.
- Go to the Custom Template tab to work further with the template and make any relevant changes in order to create a new template.
Discard Draft
- Clicking on Discard Draft deletes the current draft version of the template and shows the last published version of the template.
Validate
- Click on Validate to see if your template has been created correctly without any errors. The pop-up will show you what information needs to be adjusted in order to publish the template.
- Please note that only validated templates can be published.
Publish
- Clicking on Publish sets the draft version of the template into a published version.
- An additional pop-up will open to confirm if the template should be published. Click on Confirm to do so. The template will be validated again and published if everything is correct.
- The draft label next to title will change to published.
Publish as Custom
- Click on Publish as Custom to set the draft version of the template into a custom published version.
- An additional pop-up will open to confirm if the template should be published. Click on Confirm to do so. The template will be validated again and published if everything is correct and saved under the Custom Templates tab.
- The draft label next to title will change to published.
- Please note that the template is not shown on the Discovery but can be used internally.
Template Actions - Status: Archived
Validate
- Clicking on Validate gives you a quick overview if the archived template is still valid to be published again.
- Archived templates can be viewed again in the template overview if the Include Archived box is enabled.
Checkout & Open
- Clicking on Checkout & Open will set the archived template into draft mode, and will allow you to update and republish the template again.
- In draft mode, the template has the same functionalities as all templates in draft mode.
Checkout as Custom & Open
- Clicking on Checkout as Custom & Open will set the archived template into draft mode and will allow you to update and republish the template again.
- The templates will be stored under Custom Templates.
- In draft mode, the template has the same functionalities as all templates in draft mode.
