How to change the default transport type?

Learn how to change the default transport type used in the route builder!

The default transport type for a newly created connection between two stops is set to Rental Car.

Steps to change the default transport type: 

  • Go to Settings
  • Click on Distribution Channels
  • Click on your TripBuilder ID
  • Click on the Planner tab
  • Scroll to the Default Transport Type setting

  • Change the default transport type by selecting another transport type from the drop-down

  • Click Save 

Please note:

Changing the default from rental car to another default transport type is especially useful if you do not sell rental car trips.
