Overview
Your setup may have one or several distribution channels. Distribution channels give you the tool to maintain several brands towards the market. But it doesn't stop with the brand as a configuration setting, in fact, a distribution channel can be configured in many ways:
- each distribution channel has its own domain
- look & feel
- contact details, legal name
- feature flags give control over the behaviour of discovery, and the planner
- texts of buttons, the checkout steps, or travel documents can be controlled
Also, note that various more advanced configuration concepts can be configured such that they apply only to a specific distribution channel:
- Markups: the multi-layered markup model has a layer for distribution-channel-specific markups. Read more.
- Cancellation policies: a cancellation policy for content managed in the Nezasa inventory may be linked to a certain distribution channel.
- Content rules (product distribution rules): a content rule may be applied to a specific distribution channel. Read more.
