Overview
You can use Rental Car Ad-Hoc Component to add rental cars, campers, or motorbikes to an itinerary while planning a trip.
Steps to add ad-hoc Rental Cars

Click on TO-tools / TA-Tools

Click on Ad-Hoc Components

Click on + Add new Rental Car Ad-Hoc Component

A pop-up window will open so that you can enter the details:

Name
-
Pick-up location, and the time stamp/Drop-Off Location and time stamp

Vehicle Type (Rental/Camper/Motorbike)

For Campers and Motorbikes, you don’t need to fill the ACRISS;

Code
-
auto-generated following the input of your vehicle in the below fields, or if you know the ACRISS code, filling it will auto-populate the fields below

ACRISS Category
-
ACRISS Car type
-
ACRISS Transmission
-
ACRISS Fuel, AC

Included/Excluded items
-
like a baby chair, GPS, etc.

-
Nº of passengers/suitcases
-
Any additional information you might want to add

Supplier

Booking status

Net/Sales price

Drag and drop a picture if required

Once all details have been entered, hit Save.
The component will be added to the itinerary, the price will be updated, and the rental car will be shown in the Planner and the Travel Documentation.
Updating Rental cars ad-hoc
You can update an Ad-Hoc component directly on the itinerary you’re creating, clicking on the pencil icon:
A new window will pop up, where you can make the necessary changes. After that, hit Save.
Updating Rental cars ad-hoc in Customer Care
If a rental car ad-hoc component was added to an itinerary, the component will be shown under Service & Price List of the Itinerary in Customer Care:

Go to Cockpit

Click on Customer Care

Click on the itinerary ID

Go to the Service & Price List page.
You’ll see the Ad-Hoc components, and all the other components you might have created (Rental cars/flights/transport/accommodation/activities) will be in their respective fields.
The rental car ad-hoc component is displayed as a component on the list with an editing option on the right-hand side:
By clicking on the editing icon a pop-up window opens which allows applying changes to the component:
