Overview
TripBuilder allows you to filter accommodation results based on your most suitable criteria. This is an important feature, particularly for quickly identifying suitable offers in locations where available accommodations may number in the hundreds or even thousands.
Steps to Configure Accommodation Search Filters
- Go to Settings
- Click on Distribution Channels
- Click on your TripBuilder ID
- Click on the Planner tab
- Scroll down to Accommodation Search Filters
Each search filter will have one of the following configuration options defined:
- Disabled: The filter is not displayed in the user interface.
- Quick search: The filter is available and applied only to the results already loaded in the browser.
- Full search: The filter is available, and using it will initiate new accommodation searches in the bed banks. The new search can reveal new offers that were not listed before due to a limited number of results being loaded at a time (e.g., cities like Paris and New York may have thousands of accommodations, but only up to 1,000 offers are loaded at once to TripBuilder).

Remarks:
- Star ratings generally come from GIATA data, except when the accommodation is unmapped in GIATA.
- When applying the filter, TripBuilder will consider all ratings between the selected values. For example, if 3 and 4 stars are selected, it includes 3 stars, 3.5 stars, and 4 stars accommodations but excludes anything below 3 stars or above 4 stars.

TrustYou Rating
- Disabled | Quick Search
- Remark: Guest Ratings for accommodations are provided by TrustYou. These ratings apply only to live supply accommodations and not to inventory accommodations. Applying a guest rating filter will exclude all inventory accommodations from the results.

Please note: The availability of the Meal Types filter depends on the Show Meal Tag configuration (found in Distribution Channels > Planner tab > Product-Specific Configurations section > Accommodations sub-section). If this setting is enabled, the Meal Types filter can be configured; otherwise, it will automatically be set to Disabled. |

- Remark: When applying this filter, TripBuilder will exclude accommodations where all room options are non-refundable. Accommodations are considered if at least one room option offers free cancellation. This filtering logic applies only to the Accommodation Overview screen. On the Accommodation Detail screen, all room options are displayed, regardless of whether the filter has been set.

Display on the Accommodation Overview Page
The configured search filters are always displayed on the left side of the Accommodation Overview Page. The filters (from top to bottom) are:

- Price
- Hotel Facts
